The Simplest of Answers

Who stands on breath of wings and calls for silence and the light?

Who grants us mortals the will to live our dreams or at least strive for perfection of what we feel we are destined to?

Who watches the corn and wills it to grow?

Who is the glint in the lowliest bugÕs eye-drop eye?

"Why, I am, silly," said the small boy

as he gazed in wonder at me for not knowing this simplest of answers,

to the simplest of questions...

"I AM."

He said again to make sure I understood.
